Lift and Tint

• Please avoid curling your lashes prior to your appointment.

• Avoid caffeinated drinks prior to your appointment as it may cause your eyes to flutter.

• Do not wear contact lenses to your appointment - bring your glasses.

• Make sure you come with a clean, makeup-free face.

For the first 24 hours:

• Do not get your lashes wet - this allows the lift to cure.

• Do not wear eye makeup.

• Do not go swimming or use hot water in a spa / sauna.

• Do not undergo other facial beauty treatments.

After the first 24 hours have passed:
• Use of sauna/steam is okay but may weaken the effect of the lift.
• Avoid waterproof mascara or eyeliner.
• Do not use harsh products on your eyes/lashes.
• Be gentle with your lashes; no rubbing them as it can lessen the lift.
• To maintain the look, it's best to rebook every 4-6 weeks. 

All clients will be given an aftercare sheet for reference if needed.

Most people are a good candidate for this service. Lash lift & tints is best suited for anyone who:

• Has 9mm or longer eyelashes.

• Wants a more defined curl.

• Want darker, defined lashes.

• Want a natural look.

• Those who are sensitive or allergic to eyelash extensions. 

There are some contraindications that can make you ineligible for a lift & tint:

• Allergies or watery eyes: constant touching, rubbing, or tearing will lessen the life of the lift.
• Prone to styes and other eye infections: may react easily to the solution and may be prone to inflammation or redness.
• Reaction to strong scents: setting lotion may have a strong scent.

• Hypersensitive skin or eyes: patch test will be performed.
• Contact lenses: must be removed before treatment.
• Glaucoma / Dry Eye Syndrome/ post chemotherapy / eye surgery: Speak with your doctor before service.
• Skin disease, trauma, cuts, abrasions, burns or swelling in the immediate area.
• Weak or sparse eyelashes.

• Unable to lay still with eyes closed for up to 75 mins.

• Had some form of eye surgery (Lasik, cornea, lens repair, etc.) within the last 6 months.

At Illuminaris, we value your time and business and ask that you respect ours as well. Every appointment has an allocated time slot for the needs of each client. Each lash appointment can take up to 75 minutes, which requires more time than a quick 10-30 minute laser hair removal procedure.

We do understand that you may need to change your plans from time to time, this is why we allow cancellation or rescheduling of the appointment.
